ABOUT KAIA TRUE and her weaving...
After dabbling in many mediums of art... drawing, watercolor, jewelry, pottery, photography... I finally found weaving. It's a great medium for me.... deliciously meditative and can be done anywhere. I love the color, function, strength, and infinite possibilities that if offers. Plus, there is nothing quite like it out there in the art world... which is hard to do!
It is such a delight to see people's faces when they see my work for the first time. It has quite an impact in person. They seem to bring a wide scope of interpretation, meaning and inspiration. This type of art has lots of movement and can bring energy and flow to any space.
